Umbrella Payroll Assistant

We are currently looking to recruit an ambitious Umbrella Payroll Assistant to join our client’s growing team. Our client provides specialist accountancy and umbrella services to contractors, freelancers and SMEs. This is a great opportunity to join an ambitious and forward-thinking company.

Role Responsibilities

Your role as Umbrella Payroll Assistant (reporting to the board) will include:

  • Liaise with agency partners in on-boarding new umbrella employees and agreeing contract terms
  • Processing payroll (monthly and weekly) for our Umbrella employees
  • Deal with employee/HMRC payroll queries
  • Auto enrolment pension compliance/submissions
  • End of year payroll returns
  • Maintenance of PAYE controls
  • Focusing on great service and meeting the day to day demands of the umbrella employees and agency partners

 

Skills and Experience

  • Personable and great team player
  • Previous umbrella payroll experience
  • Confident and ambitious
  • Well organised and strong communicator
